A silly little blog for me to drop the excrement of my mind.

I wish I had a backbone.

If I did, I might actually let a few of the regulars here know what I really think and feel about them.  If I did, I wouldn't try so damn hard to be diplomatic in the way I present things.  In the end, I fear I just come off wishy-washy and weak.

I'm sick of it.

But I still don't know if I have the spine to just let it out, be honest, and name names.  I really, really want to, but am too weak.  Perhaps I can find a spare spine somewhere.  Anyone know where to pick one up?

Ahhh hit us with it Dev, many of us know that you are a decent guy, and you wouldn't start on anyone without a valid reason.  So tell us what you think, your opinions here are valid, and this is your thread, so why the hell not?  If folk don't like it they can walk on by!  You can pick on me first if ya like

If it makes you feel better, I think I come across as wishy washy and weak.  I just don't like disagreements though.  Unless I feel extremely passionate about the topic I prefer to walk away, and those who I don't like I generally don't bother with.  It's pretty simple really.

Hey, no point in not speaking your mind, mate. It's not like anyone will take away your birthday. I know I'm an asshat so you're not likely to shock me too much if you tell me off.

Go for it! I have plenty of spine, maybe too much.

here is a spinal transplant./

I know I piss people off, so I won't be shocked if you blast me either.

I'm the same way. Someone has to really push me to the limit before I get to the point that I'll be mean. But I've never been blacklisted and never blacklisted anyone on my blog. I just try to be friends and stay out of the dramas and if someone irritates me I just ignore them. I guess I need more backbone too.

Well Dr. BlueDev,  if it's me you'd like to tell off,  go for it   I can't say as that the laminectomy I had 10 years ago gave me any extra or stronger spine,  however am due for a second surgery...so maybe then I too will have more "spine".   At least I'll have boldts and rods,  much like Mason does now!  So fire away,  I'm all ears,  or in my case,  all new bionics!

If ya hang around JU long enough,  you'll learn how to speak your mind or else get an ulcer!  I WAS going to say "just kidding" however i think that people do tend to get ulcers, from excess acid production,  brought on by stress....in some cases from not speaking up to defend themselves.

Why I just the other day blew a gasket when a favorite blogger at JU jumped on a young, and hurting person.  I figured it was time someone spoke up and told the offending blogger what I thought.  I imagine now I'm the "bad guy"  and that's ok,  I"m big enough to take it.

Fuck it, drink some beer then come type.

Easy enough.

why dont you bring it on instead of leaving your nasty little turds and not-so-veiled references on third party threads?

Why what ever are you talking about?

I was merely suggesting to the good Dr. how it's helpful to speak one's mind   if they ahhhh have one

BlueDev: I don't think, in your case anyway, that it's spinelessness. You just aren't an abrasive person. I've seen you speak your mind plenty of times (and been on the receiving end of it as well), and you get your point across, you just aren't hateful about it.

Nothing wrong with that.

Thanks Tex.  I wish I felt the same.  I don't know, I just can't help but feel that some of the things that have been brewing inside lately haven't come out because I am too concerned about being the "nice guy" to have the balls to say them.  Hmmmm.

Spit them out mate. You obviously want to or you wouldn't have written all of this. Get it off your chest. You're well liked and respected here by many of us, and most of us are adult enough to take a bit of critical abuse. Pummel me if you feel the need, I can take it.

You and me both, Dev. I get so tired of seeing some of the hateful articles here, articles written purely as bait for whatever political, religious or social agenda the writer doesn't support. I think I would seriously disturb some people if I cut loose.

Doc, you know you have to let it out otherwise you're gonna end up with stress. So let it out! And just know that you can handle and be able to swallow what comes after...and I think you can!

If all else fails, you can always rant to me in an email or call me . . . if I'm not at work, I'm more than willing to talk. I'm a great sounding board.

Trudy, I have to be honest.  I don't appreciate you using my blog to snipe at others.  If you have a bone to pick with someone, do it on your own blog or on that persons.

My blog is for me to pick on others.
