A silly little blog for me to drop the excrement of my mind.
-or- just so you know

Yes folks, you read the title correctly. After the better part of a year and just over 100 articles it is time for me to come clean and just say it.

I am right. You are stupid.

If you are wondering exactly what I am right about, let me make this simple: Everything. No need to tip-toe around the issue, no need for me to write post after post, article after article in which I hint at the fact that I know everything, like some I have read here. I feel comfortable enough in my omniscience to just state it openly, to avoid any confusion and further argument.

I realize this will come as a shock to some of you. It is very evident that many here seem to (mistakenly) think they have the corner on all knowledge, be it political, moral, etc. Day after day I read your comments, written from some high podium of sanctimonious knowledge, deftly disregarding any who may dissent because, plainly, they are intellectually inferior. Of course, none who may think otherwise may have some shred of truth. At least that was what you thought. Until today. But no the truth is out. I am right.

Then there are those who think they have some preternatural empathetic ability and just naturally understand and know everything about everyone, regardless of the fact that most of us have never met in person. They talk (write) as if they and only they truly understand life and its many complexities. Perhaps they demonstrate some restraint out of an antiquated sense of honor, but they still jump to conclusions, make judgments, and hand down verdicts borne out of ignorance. See, the thing is, they are stupid.

It all boils down to this. All you know-it-alls out there need to just give it a rest, take some Valium, and shut up. Because it really is simple. I am right and you are stupid.

Pissed off and sick of it,

BlueDev

Dharma--You know, for writing a blog that was specifically supposed to be inflammatory, I sure have a lot of people agreeing with me. Perhaps I am more right than even I knew.

Perhaps you are.  I think you are.  About a lot of things.  I only have one bone of contention with you, but I respect you enough to not question it.

Or, it could be that we all know what and who you're talking about and are agreeing with you to.....show support, I guess?

I appreciate that. I would be happy to discuss it with you if you wanted. You have my email.

Is there a difference between wrong and stupid? Can you be smart even if you are misinformed?

*wishes she had written in BlueDev isntead of Yoda on ballot*

I am indeed stupid. After all, the dead have no brains! But then if I'm stupid, then why does everyone else make me look so smart?

then why does everyone else make me look so smart?

Because the dead have an even more inflated delusions of grandeur?

I don't care, is that wrong?

Well once you eat their brain, what do you expect?

You can think you are smart even when you are wrong, which makes you more stupid. But hey, Yoda is a pretty good choice too, even I would recommend him.

I don't care, is that wrong?

Well, it can't be right, because that is what I am. So it must be wrong.

Not going to go into details, not going to name names. This is in the forums as well, so I don't want to start any mudslinging. I will just say that while I could name names and post links, this article was more of a reaction to a general gestalt I have had 'round here lately, and post election day is just adding to it (from both sides--this isn't a reaction to the results, rather a reaction to the reactions, if that makes any sense).
You're right.  That was stupid of me to ask.

I have been experiencing what perhaps inspired this blog and am with you all the way.

If someone agrees with you, are you both right or are you both stupid?
