A silly little blog for me to drop the excrement of my mind.
In a recently released audio recording, Osama bin Laden is reportedly stating that Zacarias Moussaoui was not involved in the 9/11 attacks. He continues to assert that no one in Guantanamo Bay was involved in the attacks either.

Now, obviously, I cannot say one way or the other for certain. However, I see absolutely no reason to believe bin Laden on this. This seems like the very kind of thing that he would do.

Terrorists are all about terror. And terror is something in your head. It is a mental and emotional state. These are just more head games that Al Qaeda is playing. After all, let's think about this. We have someone who claimed he was involved (who is now saying he wasn't) who has been sentanced to life in prison. No death penalty, no opportunity to be a "martyr for the cause". So how do they turn this to their advantage? Simple:

Say he had nothing to do with it.

That way, even this one little victory becomes empty and hallow. If we allow them to convince us we have the wrong people, we allow them to control us even more than we already have.

Frankly, why should we believe the words of a serial killer, pathologic liar, worthless piece of human trash? We shouldn't.

I know liberals would believe him.

Well, Island Dog, I'm a pretty flaming liberal and I don't believe 'em...

But feel free to keep making gross generalizations... you'll make lots of friends that way.

lol, nice one Stanty!  How is Atlanta buddy?

Island Dog: I can believe that there are some extremist, ridiculously outspoken liberals who might pick this up and run with it, but I think most are pretty comfortable with the fact that bin Laden is a liar and murderer and anything he says should be treated as such.

I wonder what they are saying over at the DU.

Mark my words, bluedev, this is the beginning of the attempt to paint Moo-Sow-Oui as a political prisoner. Sadder still is the possibility they may succeed, if we don't change the direction of our country.

Wow, what a bunch of morans (misspelling intentional).  Well, perhaps it is the type of liberals I know, but I don't think that DU is a fair slice of most dems, just the far out, ultra-screwball types.

According to their own procedures these cells are set loose to recruit and do their work independant from central control. Bin Laden wasn't even privy to the on-the-ground details, supposedly only the target, the method, and the main players. In that case I don't see how he can say who or who wasn't involved.

That seems to have escaped du.org, and several members of the MSM.  You are right Baker.  Al Qaeda would just be a non-existant entity if they did not follow the rules of cells.  But, in deferrence to Stanty and because it is true, only the truly loony loopy luddite left would believe OBL.  Not the regular liberals with brains.

Osama just wants to create even more chaos by saying America is condemning an innocent. It makes him more popular among his followers and increases their hate for America and all the things America represents.
I wish someone would just make him STFU............

Osama is such a caring, honest, benevolent person. How can you not believe him?
