As previously mentioned, with the death of The Prog Geek, Progged has been reimagined, redesigned, and reinvigorated. In order to keep that up, there is some new content over there.
Why not stop by and check out the reviews for the latest Ayreon album, 01011001?
Arjen again proves that he has the Midas touch. Fans of metal, folk, acoustic, pop, prog and even electronica can all find something to enjoy on this album. Lyrically, the story is coherent, cohesive, and powerful. Again, Arjen demonstrates that he is perhaps one of the most brilliant minds in progressive music. I recommend 01011001 without reservation to music fans everywhere.
If that seems like too much effort to get into, then take a peak at the review for Chevelle's recent release, Vena Sera:
Vena Sera will be immediately familiar to fans of the band's previous work. The album immediately feels comfortable. . .The subtle variability certainly makes Vena Sera more interesting than the bands previous release. However, if you aren't already a fan, Vena Sera isn't going to do much to win you over.
Keep your eyes and feed readers on Progged. There is going to be a fair bit of new content on the way, hopefully with something for just about everyone (unless all you really care about is country or hip-hop, you'll be out of luck).
