A silly little blog for me to drop the excrement of my mind.

One of the greatest joys of being a parent is playing with your kids. It is true. There are few things in this world that even come close to the laughter you hear when playing with your little ones.

In our home I have the special distinction of being mammalian playground equipment.

Perhaps it is some subconscious signal I send out, perhaps they sense it in me, but whatever it is my girls love to climb on Daddy. They jump on me, hang from my heights, scale to my summit and then slide back down, and just about anything else they want to. I love it, they love it, and we all laugh.

Oh, and I am also their transportation:

I love being a Daddy!

Gotta have fun whenever we can. And if it makes getting them in bed that much easier, I am all for it!

Good stuff. My girl, who is now six and 77 pounds still enjoys jumping and tackling me. I always want to tell her "Easy baby, you're gonna break my back, but who wants to spoil the fun?"

NickyG--I hear you. Ours just seem to grow small, which is odd considering how tall I am and my wife is pretty tall as well. Our 5 1/2 year old is barely breaking into the 40's, so it makes playing with them a lot easier.

Tex--Thanks. I try to have fun.

Heh. My seven year old is barely 50 lbs . . . if that! He's one skinny little dude.
