I found your opening kind of amusing! I would never have thought of NC as an adventerous place when it comes to food, but I guess in the Research Triangle it might be.
I will have to try some more Hummus. I have only had it twice, but it was pretty good.
Here is my recipe:
1 can Garbanzo beans (chickpeas) (reserve liquid)3 TBS roasted sesame seeds3 TBS olive oil3 cloves garlic (more if you like)2 TBS lemon juice2 tsp salt1 TBS Cumin
Blend in food processor or blender until smooth (or as smooth as you like). Add reserved liquid if needed.
