I am a total tech junky. That doesn't mean I know a lot really, but I love computers, technology, new gadgets and new programs. At times I will browse software sites and look for new programs, read up on them, and maybe give them a try. Today I found some real gems that I just had to share. All of the following programs can either be downloaded or linked to from the site Klitetools . There are many sections, all freeware. In some instances there are newer, shareware or commercial ver...

Time has permitted me to toy around with some more Fantastically Fabulous Freeware. And this time around the freeware highlighted can provide some very satisfying results. So our old desktop box has been acting very buggy lately. I knew it was time to do a clean format, and I was tired of old Windows98 on that machine, so I decided to give Linux a try. I was apprehensive, but thought it could be fun to try a little bit. I was very, very surprised. I have heard both the Linux fanatics and the naysayers, and generally sided with the naysayers. Nevertheless, having now given Linux a fair try I am quite impressed. I originally thought I would try Mepis, s...
